Everything is uneventful until it isn’t. Someone didn’t close the convection oven all the way and a pan fell out and shattered our cooktop. Getting angry doesn’t change the fact that it happened, so we just have to figure out how to get it repaired or replaced.

Today (before this happened) has been spent trying to find our flow. Ruth logged in to her summer school class and got that out of the way. The rest of us had showers, did laundry and cleaned up. Steve took care of minor repairs and the littles took off on their scooters at the very underwhelming KOA, so underwhelming that I said, “Yes!” to as many ice cream sandwiches they could eat from the little store.

We are off to our next campsite but will undoubtedly spend most of the drive trying to figure out how to fix our broken cooktop.
I pray that you get that cook top fixed as I’m sure you depended on meal preparation this way. Thank Our Lord that no one was injured when this happened. Continued thanks to Answered Prayers for safety and good health for all the Abdallas!
