Good Morning, Day 23!

Yesterday was packed with fun with our friends in Cody. We went swimming at a nearby lake, the littles went “fishing,” we had a mini home concert, Hill said Mass, we walked around Cody and went to the rodeo! Whew, it was a busy day, but a great day!

These girls and their friendship ❤️
Wisdom is the word that immediately comes to mind when I think of this incredible man, John Boyd.

My kids are very selective of their close friends. They know that true, lasting friendships are hard to find and once found, are to be treasured.

The Cody Rodeo was awesome! This is the Rodeo Capital of the World. It did not disappoint and the kids were enthralled!

A special treat was meeting up with our friends, The Hodgkinsons, who also are on an RV trip. Our kids immediately hit it off and we are staying at the same campsite.

These two are perhaps the cutest duo I’ve ever seen

We stayed up until 1:30am hanging with our friends at the campsite.

These three were wild!
Bobby was so excited to play with his friend, Jack, in the morning, that he set out all of his things in anticipation. He was up at 6:45 even though he went to sleep at 1:30 and was waiting outside the RV. When his friend didn’t show up, Bobby cam in at 8 and fell back asleep with me.

Old Ray had a run-in with a tree last night in this tight campsite on the way to parking for the night. Needless to say, we will be staying an extra night here in Cody until we get a compartment panel bent back in and secured to safely continue on to our most anticipated stop of this entire vacation. We didn’t want to rush the rest of our trip for this last big stop, but we’re so excited to be heading to Rapid City to see our Mimi.
